Privacy and data controls
You choose your sources, your layout, and the pace. Your personal board belongs to your account.
What the pilot stores
Your email, a password hash, sign-in sessions, subscriptions, submitted links, board preferences, and saved tiles. Source content and board records are stored on the server. This app does not store credentials or board content in your browser’s local storage.
How processing works
StreamSieve retrieves public feeds and public articles you select. Local models on our processing host prepare source-based summaries and examine supporting text. The pilot does not send your material to an external model API. Your browser still contacts StreamSieve to load your account and content.
Summaries can miss context. A tile labelled “Reported” describes what a source says. It does not certify that the underlying claim is true. Open evidence and the original source before relying on a claim.
What stays private
Subscriptions and personal boards are restricted to their account. There are no advertising trackers, inferred preference profiles, public personal-board pages, or connected private social accounts in this pilot. Operators administering the service can access service records and backups. This pilot is not end-to-end encrypted.
Retention and removal
Raw fetched content expires after 30 days through a daily retention task. Source references, hashes, evidence revisions, and user-saved tiles are retained while your account is active. Archiving hides a tile while keeping its record.
In Account controls, you can download an export or request account deletion. Deletion removes the active account and its data and ends its sessions. Service recovery backups expire after 30 days. They may retain deleted records until that expiry. Operator-made copies outside the service require separate retention controls.
Source links and your choices
Opening an original source takes you to another website governed by its own privacy practices. StreamSieve sends no referral page in those links. Exported files contain your account data; keep them somewhere private.
For account recovery, questions about retention, or help using your controls, contact the operator who invited you.
